Servicing can be hard to fit into the busy schedule of an owner/operator, but Vermeer Australia makes the process easy for customers, offering support throughout the whole process.

Why is servicing important?

Buying machinery is a large investment for a business, so it’s important to keep your investments well looked after so they are constantly delivering to your bottom line. Regular servicing on your equipment means you can maximise your productivity, performance and uptime, and that when the time comes to upgrade your machine, it’s in good condition and well looked after.

Vermeer Australia’s dedicated field service and workshop teams are ready to assist with your scheduled service needs whether you require maintenance on-site or at one of our fully equipped workshop facilities.

Scheduled maintenance – anywhere, any time

Sometimes your machines might be out on a job for a long period of time, and hard to take in for scheduled service. Vermeer’s fleet of dedicated mobile service trucks are equipped to efficiently and safely perform preventative maintenance on your job site or premises, whether you’re located in the city, or in the regions, reducing disruption to your working day and minimising machine down time.

Vermeer Australia also has a proven track record working on large infrastructure and utility projects, meaning our teams are well equipped to support you with equipment and training across areas of project management, parts inventory, human resource management and occupational health and safety.

What does a service check on your machine look like?

Our service technicians follow an extensive checklist when servicing your machine, and tailor it depending on your make, model, and machine use and hours. Some things our expert technicians might check include:

  • Tyres, wheels and any bearings
  • Engine and hydrostatic drive
  • Check monitors, data collection and any software updates
  • Fuel and fuel tank check
  • Air filter checks and changed if required
  • Service cooling system and clean cooling package
  • Change transmission hydraulic oil and filters
  • Inspect and tighten all hardware where needed.
