Smart technology

Experience exclusive stump-cutting technology that maximises your time at the stump, such as the Vermeer cutting system (VCS), SmartSweep™ control system, and the operator presence system.

Maximum power

To use all of its 48 hp (36 kW), there’s the beltless direct-drive system. This delivers the maximum amount of power from the engine to the cutter wheel through a pair of gearboxes connected by a driveshaft. You can expect minimal maintenance cost, due to the beltless design of this system.

Navigate through narrow spaces

When you need to navigate through narrow jobsites, you can retract the machine to only 35 in (89 cm) and then extend the tracks to 49 in (124.5 cm). The tracks are low disturbance, and they provide optimal traction and stability in tough ground conditions–leaving you with minimal job prep and clean up afterwards.

Optional remote control

The optional full-function remote control allows you to operate the stump cutter without being at the operator’s station, giving you jobsite flexibility.

Optional backfill blade

Minimise jobsite clean up with the optional backfill blade. It efficiently moves chips around the jobsite, reducing the need to manually relocate the chips. The blade has a rounded lower edge to minimise turf damage.

Patent-pending design

The Vermeer cutting system features a patent-pending design that solves several challenges associated with traditional cutting systems.

Ease of maintenance

This wheel offers convenient features such as the single bolt for all teeth, which only requires two tooth part numbers and no other wear parts to maintain. Once torqued, the bolts remain tight until the teeth are removed or flipped.

Double-sided tooth

The two cutting edges on the Vermeer cutting system tooth provide the operator an advantage by giving the edges two times the wear.

V-profile

With a two-sided cutting design, the V-profile of the carbide on each tooth maximizes cutting productivity.

Centre-core protection

Wear plates on each side help protect the machined centre core. They are made of high abrasion-resistant steel and can be replaced at a cost lower than having to buy an entirely new wheel.

Minimised recirculation

The wheel design and placement of the teeth allows for material to flow efficiently past the wheel after being cut, minimizing the recirculation of material.
