There have been postings on social media regarding the Petzl SEQUOIA harness, more specifically the harness leg loop’s FAST buckle. In some rare cases, wearers have experienced the FAST buckle of a Leg Loop working itself into a partially released position. Petzl promptly investigated the issue and a solution has been developed.
Replacement Leg Loops for the Petzl SEQUOIA are now available from Spelean. For your customers who are affected by this issue, please ask them to contact Spelean by emailing the following details to: support@spelean.com.au:

Once we receive the necessary information, we will send each person, a PPE inspection form, a Repair Kit and an eParcel Return Label. The owner/user is able to replace the Leg Loops themselves, thus minimising the downtime for the harness. The old leg loops are to be returned to Spelean using the eParcel Return Label.
